UBIEMO’s monitoring agenda was: a) Electoral environment, b) Unhindered electioneering and campaigning of candidates participating in elections, c) Spontaneous participation of voters and exercise of franchise, d) Impartiality of election officials and law enforcement forces e) Election violence .

In the observation report of 300 constituencies of UBIEMO, the electoral environment was 80 percent, unhindered campaigning and campaigning of candidates participating in the election was 80 percent, spontaneous participation of voters and exercise of voting rights was 60 percent, impartiality of election officials and law enforcement forces was 80 percent. was 70 and election violence was 20 percent.

Collects and ensures that the information is not provided by any inducement or influence and also ensures that the information is not intimidated or pressured.

Observers independently observed uninterrupted polling from 7 am to 4 pm on election day and were present during post-poll counting. At this time, the observers observe whether any kind of pressure is applied to vote the voters, how was the voter attendance, whether there are any problems in voting for the candidate of the voters’ choice, whether there are fake votes.

Observers monitor the polls on polling day in constant communication and coordination with the Central Cell.

Observers submit post-poll observation reports and after submission of their dues, the Central Committee forms a seven-member board to verify the veracity of all the information in the reports.

The board unanimously approved the process of preparing the final report after verifying the authenticity of all the information.

Apart from some isolated incidents in the report, the 12th National Parliament election held in Bangladesh on January 7 appears to us as a transparent election in the history of Bangladesh, where the Election Commission of Bangladesh, like the democratic countries of the world, was independent and not influenced in any way, and their prudence deserves praise. The role of the field level administration was free of partisanship, independent administrative system formed by the Election Commission for the election, the role of the officials assigned to all the districts of the election investigation team and their discretion on the day of polling resulted in a fair election without major unpleasant conflicts.
